I am a bit surprised with the odds here putting Sparta as the favourite. Both leagues has already started but Admira as a bit more in-play. They showed good form in last 2 matches, crushing Zalgiris 5-1 and Innsbruck 2-1. Sparta on the other hand changed squad a lot comparing to the last season. They left experienced players like Blazek, Repka, Sionko, Brabec, Kusnir, Zeman and play now with very talented but young squad and they need time until it works well. Their first game in league they luckily drew with a rather weak team - Dukla. Here, Admira should win.

Liverpool will play just fourth game in this season whereas Gomel is much more in rush. The friendly games shows that liverpool is in a quite good form but nothing special. Anyway Gomel lost at home their previuos europa league game against Renova but managed to go through. Gomel also lost some points in domestic league. The quality difference is so huge here that i don't expect any big surprise and think that Liverpool should win this game easily.

The odds for home win are good enought to take them. Steaua is a strong favourite here, they won last 4 games and look to be in a good form. Trnava made 3 draws and 1 win from last matches but thir rivals were of a little worse quality. With a good atmosphere on the stadium they will face a big trouble to play against Steaua. I think Steaua should win here comfortably by two goals or more.

Ruch also went through last round very comforatbly and seems to be in a good form. Anyway i think Plzen in this match can rely on their fast and technicly given players and their counter attack tactics in which they are really good and should win their away match with Ruch. I think also that it can be over 2, 5 goals match as well.

This will be 3 opponent for Lech in this year EL edition. Two previous were from the far east and Lech drew both games 1-1 (and both at home won 2-0). There are some troubles in a team, they lost two offensive players Krivets and Rudnev and now they seem to play without real attacker. AIK struggle a lot in previous EL game but finally won away revange game and go through eliminating team from island. They are playing well in a swedish league and i consider them as a favourite here against Lech which is in a bit chaotic situation now and needs some time to organise the play.

This is a very tricky game and difficult one to predict. Slask lost some crucial players before the season and last matches showed that they are not in a very good form for sure. However there is still some quality in the team and with a good coach they shouldn't be underestimated. In the previous round they lost at home with podgorica but after 2-0 away win the felt comfortable and 0-1 was still enough to advance. Now its another game and they have to be careful. On the other hand Helsingborg shouldnt be considered as a favourite here, in their domestic league the can even lost at home against weak team. I think polish league level is a bit better than the swedish one and although there are a lot of worries around Slask, I think they shouldnt lose today. My pick here is draw, both teams should play very careful today and put attention mostly not to concede a goal. Adding the fact that Slask strikers are really in a bad form now and Helsingorg defence is said to be very solid i see here under 2, 5 goal game.

The odds for Celtic are really poor. The Scottish league is yet to start whereas the finnish league is already going. These are all the worries about Celtic. Last week Celtic played home friendly versus Inter Milan and drew 1-1 what is quite a good result. I read that they improved their form since last match a lot and things are going to be better. With supportive fans they should be able to win today against mediocre opponent.

Fenerbahce played really well last season, they are scoring many goals and for sure will aim into champions league group stage this season. With high hopes and hot domestic atmoshpere on the stadium they will be a tough opponent for averybody, especially for a team like Vaslui. In preaseason games Fener didnt show really good form, drewing with teams from Budapest and Tbilisi and Newcastle. Anyway their offensive power with Alex and Kuijt up front is huge and they should proove today their class.
