Despite beating Russia 1-0, there is still a huge difference in class between Germany and Greece. Worst of all, Greece are missing their important attacking midfielder Karagonis (suspension), leaving their coach less option in the attacking line. The best option he can choose right now is to defend in numbers, as they did vs Russia. So I would not be surprised if Greece lined up with eight defenders, one midfielder and one forward. Even so, I doubt if this old Greek side (most of their players are above 30's) could keep up with a young and skillful Germany. Remember, Germany are much stronger than Russia. The Greeks are very strong at the back and most of their games end in under but there are some loopholes at the back which could lead to them conceding goals just like in their loss to the Czechs. Germany were the second highest scorers in the qualifiers and only their win over the Portuguese produced under 2.5 goals. With the Greeks missing Karagounis and the Germans having Gomez who is competing for the Golden Boot, I think this game will produce more than the 2.5 goal mark.

Greece plays a boring defensive football as their creativity is almost 0! It seems that their Zeus has helped them once again qualifying that way they did...but now even Zeus and Apollon can't help them. Even Karagounis too who will be suspended for this game. Not more to say here...
