Guatemala is poor team and they has very bad tradition meeting USA, In last 12 years they meet 7 games, 2 end with draw result and 5 won USA, USA won first group game against Antigua and Barbuda and Guatemala lost against Jamaica. That was 3th loss i 4 games for Guatemala

Guatemala won all its six games in the second stage and outscored its opponents 10-1 at home. Guatemala has been playing friendlies in preparation and their results have been impressive winning against Costa Rica in one of the two games they played against them and losing to Paraguay in another. The USA has a 5-1-1 record in 2012 but they will have to work hard against a strong and tight host defence. The USA have not lost against the hosts since 1983 and I think they might just do enough to record another win.
